Thriller Actors/Actresses
Leonardo DiCaprio
He's been in thrillers such as : Inception, The Departed, Shutter Island, Catch Me if You Can.
In 'Inception' he played a character called Cobb who is a thief who is strong in conning secrets from his victims through infiltrating their dreams. In 'The Departed' he played a character called William 'Billy' Costigan who is a state trooper who works undercover. Leonardo plays a character called Teddy Daniels in 'Shutter Island' Teddy is a mentally ill patient but believes he is in fact a detective. Similar to 'Inception' in 'Catch Me if You Can' Leonardo also plays a con artist called Frank Abagnale.
Leonardo seems to always play roles that are either connected to the police force (e.g. detective) or the complete opposite and against the law (e.g. con artist) either way he always plays strong characters and never victims.
Tom Cruise
He's been in thrillers such as: War of the Worlds, Mission Impossible, Knight and Day,
In 'War of the Worlds' Tom Cruise plays a character called Ray Ferrier a dock worker who is divorced and living alone and when the earth is attacked, tries to look after his 2 children. Contrasting to 'War of the Worlds' in 'Mission Impossible' he plays Ethan Hunt who is an IMF point man who work for a field team. In 'Knight and Day' Tom Cruise plays Roy Miller who is a secret agent. Unlike Leonardo DiCaprio Tom Cruise plays a more diverse range of characters, ranging from a 'nobody' in War of the Worlds to a secret agent in Mission Impossible. Tom cruise is quite average looking so doesn't always have a romantic link in the films, although when he does it is so that men who watch the films think that they could be like him in the films and woman can view him as being a kind of man that could be achievable to date.
Brad Pitt
He's been in thrillers such as: Fight Club, Seven and Mr and Mrs Smith
In 'Seven' Brad Pitt plays a detective helping Morgan Freeman and in 'Mr and Mrs Smith' he plays a secret agent.
In thriller movies Brad Pitt often plays a hero, usually working with the police or the government, he tends to always find love in the films due to his attractiveness and playing the hero. He is presented as being quite strong as often is in fight scenes.
Megan Fox
She's been in thrillers like: Transformers and Jennifers body
Megan Fox is incredibly attractive, so always plays the 'damsel in distress' who gets rescued by the hero in the film, although unconventionally she can be presented as being quite strong and is sometimes involved in fight scenes (e.g. Jennifers body) this means that woman watching the films can enjoy the fact that woman can be strong in films also and it isn't always the males who are involved in fighting
